Registration & Application
Registration Procedures:
- There are no prerequisites for this Program.
- Participants do not need any background in Art or Art History.
- No travel experience is required.
Individuals wishing to enrol in this program are required to:
- Fill out an Application Form (pdf)
- Include two passport size photos
- Submit a deposit cheque for $650.00 made payable to Langara College
- Submit a photocopy of your passport.
- Submit the above to Bruce Hanbury, Art History Department or Kathryn Ellis, Continuing Studies Department
Early registration is recommended to avoid disappointment, as space is limited.
Once your application has been submitted your cheque will be cashed and will become non-refundable in the event that you decide to withdraw or cancel your intent to participate in this program for any reason.
Important Information
- Educational tax receipt will be available.
- No Visas are required for Canadian citizens but a valid Canadian Passport is necessary.
- Visa requirements for all other passports are the responsibility of the participants.
Airfare: |
Airfare is not included in the Program cost, but we will be recommending an economical flight to coincide with the Program dates. |
Room Occupancy: |
All participants should be aware that the program cost is based on double occupancy in twin rooms. If you do not have a traveling companion we will be happy to make arrangements for you to pair up with another member of the group. |
Visa Requirements: |
Participants should have a valid Canadian Passport. |
Insurance: |
Travel, Flight and Health insurance are recommended and can be purchased from any travel agent, B.C.A.A. and other companies. Check with your Health Plan to see what they recommend for travel to Europe. |
Waiver: |
All participants should be aware that they will have to sign a release form prior to departure which allows Langara College, Instructors, Staff, Tour Leaders and Contract Service Employees to be free of liability with respect to this Travel Program. |
(Please note all program dates are tentative and program costs are based on a limited number of participants. Both are subject to change without notice, based on availability, inflation and Canadian Dollar exchange rate. Langara College reserves the right to cancel any program without penalty or liability.)
